Glidewell Specialties Foundry Company is a full service foundry with the capability to take a design from the blueprint stage all the way through to a machined and assembled product. It produces castings that range from 300 to 30,000 pounds in gray iron and 300 to 28,000 pounds in ductile iron. Glidewell is a privately held company with approximately 100 employees. Located in Calera, Alabama, Glidewell Foundry sits on 20 acres of land and has 150,000 square feet of covered workspace.
